New Year, New ME

"Bang! Boooom! Woooooosssshhhh---------- Boooom!"
There were firecrackers everywhere. Not even a single second skipped from these noise-makers. But this time, it is not the real meaning of noise that we all know. The year ended good to me so I will describe this night the "New life Over It's Sweet Ending."

Yes, it's new year! A year has passed already and that means new beginning will start again. And I need to make myself changed from now.

I've been so selfish, arrogant, lazy last year. And I really love to make the "yesterdey me" into a new me. 

I know it would be really hard to make myself into someone few will think I could be.
I am never been a perfect child to my parents. Sometimes I even tend to struggle with them and I even forgot to respect them sometimes.
This will be my first resolution, to be a better son to my parents and a nicer brother to my elder sister.

Secondly, I am really very irresponsible about school. I don't know but if it is about the things a teacher tasked you to do, I always think I can do that later, or tomorrow. Or I can even finish that on the due date.
That is ONE of the worse habits I have.

Starting this year, I will do whatever thing I was tasked to do not until the deadline. Every time I have space. I promise I'll do it.

Those are just some. There are more steps I need to take to achieve the very best in me. It's new year, and I'll be a new me.

Christmas is ...

I can hear children singing from our gates. I can hear their voices accompanied by the bells. It's His birthday! It's christmas!

I thought it was just a normal day. That is because I am not the kind of person who is very date-minded. I mean I just wake up everyday and perform my daily routines. Except today, because I know that it is a very special day.
Our house locates beside our barangay pavement, and nearby us, a chapel stands. It was already decorated by the barangay officials for the celebration for this day. But before I celebrate, I started my day with a prayer. I knelt down in front of the altar.
I was the only one in there because I know families are busy preparing for their own celebration. After I had greeted God, of course I thank him for letting us be happy throughout the year.

Well, everyone was already awake. My aunts and tito's were the ones in-charge for the food. While us, the LITTLE children were on the house doing what we need and want to do. I lye on the couch while my girl cousins were playing with the guitar. Every year, our cousins from the city
celebrates their christmas vacation here in Ilocos. That is why our christmas season becomes the happiest days of the whole year.

And then, we heard them. The children. Their little voices dances in our ears.
"Jingle bells, jingle bells ..." And then my Uncle walked towards them and gave them what they wish for, aguinaldo.

Minute after minute, the singing continues. New batches comes after another. We enjoyed listening to them although some of them sing the same songs. And even some singers weren't in perfect tone.
For me that is really what christmas brings, a smile in our lips and a beautiful feeling inside us.

Love. Peace. Oneness. Everything that represents good in the eyes of the Lord for me is the real essence of Christmas.

Every child is born with ...

John F. Kennedy once said, "Every child is born with equal rights and oppurtunities."

I think about his statement for a million times. Are we really equal?

We all know that differently abled persons don't ave EQUAL access to the society or services like education, transportation, health care, political participation and everything.

That is because we tend to discriminate them just because they are not able to perform ever single thing a normal person can. We have to remove the barriers created by the us, ourselves, the "normal"persons or should we say, the "perfect bodied" persons.

We are born with equal rights and oppurtunities. We really are. In God's eyes, we are just like everyone. Our only difference is that some were born with physical difficulties. But that doesn't mean that they are not able to live as perfct as ours.

A world with no discrimination is the world with no difference. I think that is the real world our Creator wanted to make.

Climate Change

We have been blessed by God a perfect world to cherish forever. A world that brought us a perfect life, a life full of promising experiences. But most specially, it let us enjoy what the real essence of being a sons and daughters of God is.

Here in the Philippines, we are very lucky to have this very rich motherland. That is why foreign people tend to visit us to witness the amazing and unique things that we have. The natural resources like clear and clean bodies of water,
fresh air given by millions of trees, but from this very second, can we still say that there are millions of trees planted that give us fresh air to breathe? I doubt even "thousands" doesn't represents what it is now.

Climate change is one of the biggest answer to this question. Because of our irresponsible care about the gifts from the Lord, the Earth is now intensely experiencing from the bad revenge of the nature. Even the government was very concerned regarding this
fact. Instead of dry season, why are there still rain and storms we experience during the summer vacations?

We should start thinking about this now. Or do we still need to be threaten by the nature phenomena again just to realize what we need to realize? They say December 21, 2012 was the end of the world, would we let that happen? Prayer is not only the answer for everything. We need to
be "common sensed". We need to stop the bad habits we have. We need to stop destroying our mother nature. I think that would be enough to prove that world will never end even for a zillion years.

Third to the Last

       As I continue to study about our lessons in ICT, I am surprised because of the knowledge I learn although I am studying for almost a hundred percent of my time being here.

As I think of words I type, I was wondering what else I have learned this grading period. Well what was so special this time is that we have one of the great practice teachers the whole quarter.

Together with our subject teacher, she thought us how to make our HTML documents more presentable, eye-catchy and more interesting. She let us know the formulas in inserting font and tag attributes for the betterment of our documents. She has been a very good mentor, a hero as well, by the way, she is Manang Melany Almo Queyquep, (search mo nalang sa facebook J) a great friend of mine.

For the past grading, I have encountered much difficulties, but this time, I became more comfortable because both of my teachers, Maam Evelyn and Maam Melany, were so fun to be with. I just wish I could be more responsible every time they require us something.

Moving on, I will be more focus in my studies not just in ICT. I know more challenges are about to come and I hope I am ready enough for these. J

Upholding English Proficiency for Competitive Competence

We have gifted with language which we can use in order for us to understand each other whenever and wherever. So let us not just take it for granted, let us treasure it for it is the best thing happened in the history of humans, to have our own way of communicating with one another.

All over the world, Filipinos were recognized because we are known to be one of the races who are very fluent in English. That is why we should cherish it and be good onto it. This will destine us to a successful future because it will help us a lot to attain a good life.

We can use English anywhere, even outside our own motherland. English is the universal language so we should understand its importance. If we are fluent enough, we are sure enough for the success of our lives in the upcoming prospect.

SCIENTRICITY: Energizing Science Clubbers for Sustainable Energy

          Energy is the main source for the healthy and wealthy living of the people all over the world. That is why we need to conserve energy until our very best so that there will be no problems that we are going to encounter in the future.

        People cant live without much energy, especially electricity. Well practically, people can live without this but we are here breathing for the betterment of the world and the future. I order to attain the best life of the present people and the future people, we should cooperate on the conservation of energy. We will be able to achieve the paramount of a good life if we are united in doing what should be done, and that is to preserve energy.

        Everyone is encourage to participate in conserving energy. If we are united in doing this, the world will be transformed to a wonderful place for living.
